Dark Chocolate Brown to Light Ash Brown – Schwarzkopf Igora 5.1 & 8.1
In my transition from Dark, Chocolate Brown to Light, Ash Brown I mixed equal parts Schwarzkopf Igora Permanent Hair Color 5.1, 8.1 & Blond Me Developer 2%/7 vol.
(on the hair for 20 minutes).
I used the 8.1 (Light Ash Blonde) because all of the reviews said that the 5.1 (Light Ash Brown) leaves the hair too dark.
They were right! Even mixed w/8.1, the 5.1 made my hair way too dark.
So, I had to use my Schwarzkopf Blond Me Developer & Premium Lift 9+ (on the hair for 10 minutes) to bring down some of the darkness.
After this, one more step to go… Schwarzkopf Toner in Sand.
